1. Overview

These Terms & Conditions apply to all website design and related services provided by Simple Digital Marketing (“we”, “us”, “our”) to the client (“you”, “your”).

By engaging our services, you agree to the terms outlined below.

2. Scope of Services

We provide website design and related services, which may include:

  • Website planning and structure

  • Design and build of your website

  • Guidance on content and messaging

  • Setup assistance (e.g. hosting, domain, booking systems)

  • Basic SEO setup

  • Post-launch support (as outlined below)

The exact scope of work will be agreed before the project begins.

3. Pricing

  • Website build: £750 (one-off)

  • Maintenance (optional): £35/month

  • Training option (optional): £450 one-off

All prices are agreed in advance unless additional work is requested.

4. Hosting & Domain

  • The client is responsible for purchasing and maintaining:

    • Domain name

    • Hosting services

  • We may assist with setup, but these costs are not included in our pricing.

5. Project Timelines

We aim to begin work promptly after payment and initial discussions.

  • Initial draft: typically within a few days

  • Website launch: often within 1–2 weeks

Timelines may vary depending on:

  • Client responsiveness

  • Content availability

  • Complexity of the project

6. Client Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide required information, content, and feedback in a timely manner

  • Review drafts and respond within a reasonable timeframe

  • Ensure any content provided is accurate and legally compliant

Delays in communication may impact project timelines.

7. Revisions & Changes

Reasonable revisions are included during the build phase.

However:

  • Significant changes to structure, direction, or scope may require additional fees

  • Requests outside the original scope will be quoted separately

8. Maintenance & Ongoing Support

The £35/month maintenance plan is intended for:

  • Minor updates

  • Small text or image changes

  • General support and upkeep

It does not include:

  • Major redesigns

  • Adding entirely new properties or large new sections

  • Structural changes to the website

Where substantial work is required, this will be quoted separately.

9. Training Option

If you choose the £450 training option, we will provide:

  • Guidance on how to update and manage your website

  • Support to help you become confident using your site

After training, you will be responsible for ongoing updates unless additional support is requested.

10. SEO (Search Engine Optimisation)

We implement industry best practices to give your website the best possible chance of ranking on search engines.

This includes:

  • Keyword-informed content structure

  • Proper page setup and formatting

  • Technical elements that support search visibility

However:

  • We do not guarantee specific rankings (e.g. first page on Google)

  • Search engine performance depends on many factors beyond our control, including competition, market conditions, and ongoing activity

11. Results Disclaimer

While the website is designed to generate enquiries and improve your online presence:

  • Results will vary depending on your business, market, and how the website is used

  • We do not guarantee specific levels of enquiries, bookings, or revenue

12. Payment Terms

  • Payment terms will be agreed before the project begins

  • Work may not commence until payment is received

  • Additional work outside scope will be quoted and agreed before proceeding

13. Intellectual Property

  • Upon full payment, you own the website content and design created for you

  • We reserve the right to showcase the work in our portfolio

14. Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for:

  • Loss of business, revenue, or profits

  • Issues arising from third-party platforms (e.g. hosting providers, booking systems)

  • Changes in search engine performance

15. Termination

Either party may terminate the project by agreement.

Any work completed up to that point may be chargeable.
